During the past 2 weeks, the team focused on adjusting the multiplayer flow, accessibility for players regardless of Captain or Company status, and adjustments to the combat.
NEW CAPTAIN & COMPANY FLOWS
Players will only see the first time guilds popup when they haven't seen this pop up yet AND they entered at least one match.
Company members will now be able to set sail without a Captain on the ship
Company multiplayer flow has been updated with the following options:
'Join Public' - this will get you immediately matched with a company
'Create Private' - allows you to create a private company
' Join Private' - allows you to join a private company with an invite code
Captain multiplayer flow has been updated so you're immediately put in a private staging room when you select set sail
GAME MODES:
In Adventure Mode - the PvP zone has been removed which means that PvP is enabled in all areas.
COMBAT UPDATES:
The reticle to shoot cannons is now a trajectory preview
When you use a cannon as a Company member, the camera perspective will now be in 3rd person (you will see the character)
Adjustments to Captain Cannons - these changes effect the cannons that are used when you fire a cannon as the Captain at the helm
The cannon only fires 1 cannon from both side - instead of 2
The cannon cooldown is now 1 second - instead of 2 seconds
The damage has been significantly reduced - it is now 10 instead of 80
The speed of the cannon has been increased
Adjustments to Company Cannons - these changes effect the cannons that are used when you fire a cannon as a company member
The cannon cooldown is now 1 second - instead of 2 seconds
Ammo for the default cannon is now be 40 - instead of 20
Damage has been reduced to between 6 - 22 depending on company crew size
The speed of the cannon has been increased
