Release 2.2.9

This week, the team focused on adding a new way to join a private Deathmatch match as well as some updates to the Renegades in Adventure Mode.

NEW DEATHMATCH PRIVATE MATCH OPTION

• Players will be able to host and join private Deathmatches via a special 'Deathmatch Codes'

• This is to ensure that you can both invite those you want in your crew AND battle against a specific pirate of your choosing

• Once each ship is about to embark in battle, there will be two codes on the screen - 'Deathmatch Code' and 'Invite Code'

• The Deathmatch Code is used to invite another 'Captain' (which can be anyone) - this can be accessed when selecting Deathmatch Mode

• The Invite Code is used to invite other 'Company' members aboard your ship - this can be accessed when selecting Join a Private Ship

RENEGADE UPDATES

• In Adventure Mode - the Renegades no longer have shields, their health has been reduced and so the cannon damage has also been reduced.

Scattergun Cannon Update

• Reduced damage from 27-102 (company size dependent) to 10-40

BUGS

• Fixed issue where non-ship holders were still showing up as a 'Captain'
